Add GamerTag - EG MERCS browse the Tag's Friends to see who else is on the Team. If you need space on your friends list, you can do this instead of having each Merc on your own list. Very helpful sans a Clan Blade on the Dashboard.

Goto Bungie.net, create an account, and link your GamerTag
Hover over "My Stats" Select "My Bungie.net Settings"
Select "Profile Information" tab
Scroll down and select "Customize Halo 3 - Show" (and Halo 2)
Scroll up a bit and select "Save"
If your Xbox 360 was on during that... power down and the Bungie 7th Column Symbol will appear next to your Multiplayer Rank in Halo 3 ingame.

You need to link your Gamertag to your LiveID, sign up for a Bungie.net account to be able to do this.

What do I need to do in order to have my Bungie.net account link up to my Gamertag?

Technically,
your Gamertag actually links to your Windows Live ID account, not your
Bungie.net account. But, as far as our system goes, it's pretty much
the same thing. =)Here's what you need to do:1. First, you
need to create a Windows Live ID if you haven't already. You can do
that during the registration process at our site, going straight to the
Windows Live ID site or you can create one once you're at Xbox.com.
2. Go to Xbox.com and click the link on the right side that reads "Get Linked!".
3. Go ahead and login with your Windows Live ID (if you didn't make one yet, you can do so now)
4. You will also need to create an Xbox.com account by providing a little bit of information and accepting their terms of use.
5. Now that you're logged in and registered, go back to the "Get Linked!" page
6. Enter the required information into the fields. You'll need to have the following handy to verify your identity:

• Gamertag
  
• Name of credit card holder on the Live account
  
• Last 4 digits of the credit card
  
• Phone number
  
• Postal code
  

7. Click on "continue"!

What if I have a few different Windows Live ID?

A


You
need to make sure you use the same Windows Live ID on Xbox.com that
you've used on Bungie.net. Otherwise, your Bungie.net account won't be
able to recognize your Gamertag.

Uh oh, I just linked my Gamertag to the wrong Windows Live ID. What do I do now?
