Meeting Minutes for January 20th

*We need to have more activity on the forums. I'm talking about useful information, I feel that if we provide more useful information in the forum people will tend to be more involved with what we are trying to do as a community.

*We also need to start being more active on the 360, this will help everyone to get to know each other and their playing styles. It is important that we learn from one another, this way we have a better understanding of our strengths and weaknesses.

*We are reinstating the rank structure. This will help us be a more organized squad as well as giving those who wish to advance, a goal to shoot for. It is important for us to follow the rank structure, if you have any problems or questions you need to go to the rank above you. This helps everyone stay on the same page. However you can go to any of the higher ranks for anything, I can assure you that their door is always open, but we prefer you to follow the chain of command. If you want just to be an apprentice that is perfectly acceptable. That position is for those who just wish to be apart of a great community and have fun. It is important for everyone to remember that youu should be helping and teaching the rank below you as well as learning from the rank above you. This helps evrything run smoother and help to keep things less stressful. After all our main goal in EG is to have fun and make the most of the EG community.

*I appreciate all of the great recruiting that has been going on within our squad. I am glad to see that we are getting quality members and not just trying to get quantity. You all are doing a wonderful job. The more that we grow the more positions will open up among the ranks. If anyone has trouble trouble recruiting or just does not feel comfortable with the process, don't be afraid to ask for pointers or even a little help from some of us that have been in the commuinty for sometime. We will be more than glad to help, after all thats what we're here for.

*If you haven't already, please send a friend request to EGM ARMAGEDDON. This is our silver account on the 360 and allows everyone to see who is appart of our squad. You also need to go to our tournament web site EG WORLD and register. You will find a link to this site at the top of the page.Once you recieve you ID# please get in touch with EG DeathStrader who is our tournament director and Master Chief. We will be revamping the Pac team, we will be opening it up into different teams An A team, a B team and we will also need some fill ins in case some one can't make it. These will be 4v4 as well as 2v2 teams. We are currently holding practices every Saturday at 5:30pm ET. AddiCt3d 2CHaOs has set up an excellent training map that is packed with everything. This will be EG ARMAGEDDONs official training map.

*We will also need to get together and decide what the symbols for each rank will be. This will be done within your own rank, so that everyone will have a say in the matter. So all of the Apprentices should get together and decide. The 3rd class officers should get together. I will be posting a rough version of our SQUAD LIST, It will be redone shortly and look much better. This is just so that everyonecan see what rank they are appart of.

*Last but not least evryone need to change their Motto on the 360 dashboard to EG ARMAGEDDON. This will reprsent that you are apart of our squad.

eg dark killa and PooWee were promoted to Third Class Officers. We found out that there is definitely interest in scrimmaging with other teams. Sage encouraged us to ask questions through the chain of command (don't go right to the top, first) and Deathstrader let everyone know that the leaders at EG have an open door policy. We were reminded that EG was created to be an atmosphere where people can ENJOY playing, and to discuss any unrest with the rank above us to try to reach a resolution.

Afterward Deathstrader showed us a neat trick on Epitaph (nope, you'll have to ask someone who was there! ) then we discussed how we wanted to run practices. It was decided that the first hour and a half to two hours would be spent on "light" practices, and anyone looking to delve deeper into strategy, etc could stick around and get more into that.

I hope to see more of our members at the next practice, don't forget if there is something you want, make it known.

We don't have a team on there yet, Thats one of the things I would like to get together. I figured we just need to figure out who wants to and is able to. Then just figure out the teams whether is 4v4 or 2v2 and the have some substitutes on hand incase someone can't make it.
